How to Solve the Problem of Drought in India
Drought in India has been an age old issue. Two thirds of maharasta villages are drought prone. This has led to mass suffering, poverty, migration and suicides. The solution is called de centralized watershed management. Decentralized watershed management essentially goes to the question that if we're using ground water, then we're extracting water from the ground using pumps. If you just extract water, then you also need to recharge the water table continuously. Otherwise it's like a phone battery. We hare to teach running water to walk,.
