Is There a Pattern Language for a Game?

For me, it depends on the type of game. There's games I've made that are heavier and they're for more, I'll say hardcore audiences. For a group like that, I could have a card that is very utilitarian. On the other extreme, if there's a really light game and more casual players,. maybe then you just want the card to be a big beautiful picture of art with like one little logo or icon on it at most.
