Films and Literature Are Different Mediums

More people died on armistice day in the war than on D-Day, which I didn't know until I was reading about this. There was an American officer that basically said we go until absolute ceasefire and there was one private who died minutes before the ceasefire was signed. And so, yeah, but again, the main character is fictional, but did that happen? I presume it happened. Well, it's so actually that it happened more on the American side than on the German.
