The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
By the late 1980s, Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev's policies of Glassnost and Peristroika have started to change the face of the Soviet Union. In a powerful speech at the Brandenburg Gate, Reagan throws down a gauntlet to his Russian counterpart. To me, personally, knowing the history of what happened afterwards, that was another brick in the wall that was taken out, basically, before the whole thing fell apart.
