The Importance of the Ephesians in the Gospels

Ignatius is the second witness of Paul's martyrdom we saw in first clinic. Here we have a secondary follow up that Paul also is martyred and he's actually wanting to join in that martyrdom with him. Polycarp, a disciple of John the Apostle and around 120 wrote in his epistle 120 to 135. He said, I'm going to say this in the epistle of the Philippians on four occasions in this letter he quotes Ephesians. The reasons for the objection that is out there is that one, it is too dependent on the book of Colossians,. Hitzch and Holtzman and others make a big deal about this.
