The Sound Effects in Better Watch Out
Chris Columbus films them in such a way that they absolutely look like they're being clobbered and that it would actually hurt yes but then the kind of effects they're just kind of verging on cartoony for you to kind of give it a kind of yeah comedic tone. The combination of peshis and sterns performances are a little bit larger than life and also the sound design it's just very funny and it maybe it softens that violence I think doesn't it. Next week we're going to talk about the people under the stairs and again home alone is going to come up as quite a big parallel boofy there.
