Subjective Units of Confidence

Subjective units of distress, or something that are classically referred to in in many therapies, not just in hypnosis. It's a subjective scale, generally, zero to ten, of how bad something is. So i could be the fastest runner in the world, but if my confidence level is very low, i will probably perform at the low level of confidence rather than at my ad there's,. there's a line limiting, there is a line that i am not remembering, so i am going to paraphrase it.
