The Language of Marriage

The church is the bride of Christ. This is why it's a dangerous thing to be hostile toward the church. We have been purchased with the blood of Christ, whereas possession, you belong to me essentially is what Jesus is saying and I will share you with no other. The whole reason we long for relationship is because relationship is at the core of the very being of God. And this is the fact is that when we put our faith in Jesus we are basically it is a marriage by which we are saying I will not allow anything else to define my life but you. You are the one Jesus.
