The Importance of Product Management in Data Management

If you were making a widget and nobody wanted to use your widget or refresh rate it by it, you wouldn't blame them. You'd say we miss the mark. We missed a requirement. We fundamentally don't understand how the business is getting any value from the widget. So that kind of mindset shift that that I think we need to make. To me, if you want a data product, then you should hire a data product manager.
