Introduction

This chapter is all about the approach about scheme evaluation for the non cardiac i s you patient. For me, for most ite patients, i think it's a good idea to get an admision e g as a base line. But ordering a troponen on every patient coming into the ic is a terrible approach. If we order a troponent in someone without a cardiac problem and it turns positive, it's really easy to start down a path of doing a stress test or other things that can carry a lot of harm to the patient.
