Is There Any Future Plans to Add More Features to This Plugin?

It provides some simplified API, it also provides most of the customizations what the autocomplete provides. Right now, this search field is intended to show suggestions below or on top of the text field based on the available space. You can provide any widget as a suggestion in the list of suggestions. It's not just limited to text, but you can provide anything or that. There have been some feature requests I tend to address them in the future.
