The Importance of Text in SEO

Google has been trying, is constantly trying to render web pages in the same way as they would be in the browser and would be consumed by a human. Google now, if they notice that there's an overlay on the website, pretty much as soon as you arrive on the site, advertising something or to encourage you to install an app, then they get low ranking. Because it loads, loads of user experience.
