Massy says people like the idea of working from home less often. High street is not going to last much longer as a place built around shopping, he adds. Government thinks that it'll be good wheeze to get people to convert shops into flats and just move - but there's a whole loat of reasons why this would be a bad idea. Massy: Can we subsidize a public space to maintain it? And can we re purpose somethese shops in indifferent, creative ways?
