Is Your Amygdala Ready to Be Shaved?
The amygdala is part of what's called the paleocortex. It has one less cell layer than your upper neocortex and it doesn't have language. The sign you have that your amygdala is ready to be shaved is that it's actually giving you a very strong emotion right now. You just need the self possession or the patience with the triggering of the emotion to actually do the shaving.
