Comedians have been talking about mental illness in different capacities especially for the last 30 years it's very pointedly for the last 20 years here. The joke is that like you know you ask for help from these people they provide it and you say they did a good job so i felt better to explain how you approach that. A man on the front row of a small gig who was virtually in my lap said it's hard isn't it because he had gone through similar stuff recently. He started crying and then i kind of just gave him a hug because i was like well that's what i should do. I wanted to talk while covering up the samaritans bake-off
