How Much Is the Earnings Yield for the US?
The latest year n month end march. Earnings yield for the us. Looking at the previous yial's earnings an earnings yield is just the inverse of the price to earnings ratio. Japan has significantly trailed the us. Stock market over the past a going back to 20 12. Most of that under performance, even if we adjust for different sector weihts, is due to us getting more expensive than japan. And so that's why i'm under weight us. I wouldn't put 61 % of my equity per folio in the us. Because there are many other areas of the world that are much cheaper.
