Chris Loeb, the Chief of Police
James Burke was indicted for denying Chris Loeb's civil rights and for conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice. In 2016, Burke accepted a plea deal; he plead guilty to assault in Chris' case but also tried to come up the assault which meant arrest of other police witnesses. For his crimes, Chris was sentenced to three years in prison. He was released early and set free on January 31st of 2017 as a result of perjure testimony given by police officers at Burke's direction. James Burke was sentenced to 46 months in prison. In February 2018, Chris settled his civil lawsuit and was awarded a million and a half dollars. When I asked Chris about the settlement, he is very adamant
