The best open source projects actually tend to be monarchies. They tend to have a dictatorship. The internet itself, which is sort of famously egalitarian early on, like anybody can plug into it, right? No commercial activity. It was actually in political theory terms an aristocracy. And so the fully egalitarian vision of web three, right, is pure democracy. But they're going to end up as some combination of oligarchy aristocracy monarchy tyranny.
