The Paradox of Happiness
All experiences are temporary. If it wasn't there a moment ago, eventually it's going to pass away. The feeling of the needle hitting your vein and you're now basically using invisible heroin is just a temporary change in physiology that doesn't mean anything. You have to recognize that you can't actually become happy. You can only be happy. And any effort to reach past the present moment into some improvement is to be taken in by a mirage.
