Leslie and Opal get into a screaming match in the family's dining room, but Opal won't budge. Leslie grabs his 22 caliber rifle and points it at his mom, hoping to scare her. So allegedly he just wants to scare her into submission, but it doesn't work. She just laughs at him and tells him to put the gun away. Instead, Leslie shoots.
