How to Build a Network That Is Substantially More Than 150
David Perry: You can have all these, you can really grow a network that is substantially more than 150 or I think even the average of like 600. But at the same time, it's not necessarily the goal is to build a larger number. It's to look at some of these dormant links and weaker links and how do you reengage them? He says in those situations, again, this is where that 150 in the close connections kind of fallacy can be really damaging.Perry: The best place to start would be re-engaging those dormant ties first. And once you're comfortable talking about your new situation, you cannot stop with just those new connections.
