Why People Don't Think of Non White Cerial Killers as Victims
Caroline pickart and john browning posit that the popular misconception that all serial killing is done by white en is due to the continuous cinematic depiction of just that. Antony walsh, an american criminologist and professor at boise state university, examined 58 years of serial killing activity in the us between 19 forty five and two thousand and four. Black serial killers most certainly a thing, they are actually over represented in the us. But given that killers like garry hydnick and geoffrey darmer, who both targeted victims of color, are very, very well known, household name cyril killers, i just don't think that can be the whole story.
