Meek's Obsession With the Dead

In 1961 Meek put together a group for studio work. The Moon Trekkers did have a singer, but after hearing him audition he thought he was too awful to record. In 1962 the Tornadoes became Belief Uries backing band - something that would cause them more problems than they imagined. And in July 1962, the first ever communication satellite, Telstar, was launched. For the first time in history, people could see events on the other side of the world broadcast live.
