The New Yorker and Condian asked have acquired In The Dark, an investigative podcast that was created by American public media. Their first season examined the horrific, unsolved abduction and murder of 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling in 1989. Second season focused on the criminally unjust prosecution of Curtis Flowers, a black man who was tried six times for the same crime. And now thanks to their work, Curtis Flowers is a free man.
