Is This a Full Time Manager Role?

I feel like in general in the industry, that's the perception. I don't know why that is. Maybe there's an opportunity there to have more conversation around this. And I'd love to hear from people who are also in this position - because from what I see online, everyone seems to be full time managers. It's not that uncommon. What would you prefer, fam? Like if you could snap your, I was going to think snap your magic wand. That's a mix of two metaphors, but have the ideal role for you. Would you still be doing IC work, or would you prefer to be fully in manager work with like a large team?
