The Paradox of Reincarnation
Buddhist philosophy was itself a changing agglomeration, with different thinkers holding rival views at one time and across the centuries. When asked whether there is really a self, he simply refused to answer. Other Buddhists felt that this was tantamount to conceding the Brahmanic view of self.
