My dog is a pitbull, but definitely not in any way aggressive. Because of her kind demeanour, i was always worried about whether she would actually protect me in any dangerous situations or not. I had spent countless nights alone at that house and it was a safe suburban area and a very safe town. To my surprise, i suddenly heard noises coming from the back door. This was not at all normal because the back yard has no access to our driveway and is fenced in. My only weapons were knives in the kitchen, and the stranger was directly in my path to the kitchen. I felt frozen. I couldn't move or think. I thought fight or flight may kick in
