Sometimes I find it hard to like pick apart moral changes from other kinds of social changes. And an example that occurs to me is Carlotta Perez as this book about economic revolutions and the financial system. She talks about there being like these different economic paradigms since the industrial revolution. So they seem like moral issues are so deeply entwined or entangled with other kind of social change That maybe you can always pull them apart or it's not even worthwhile pulling them apart.
