Are We All Paying With Our Attention?
Lionel says we are encouraged to create our own wants through social networks. We're all paying with our own attention on that system, he argues. And of course, you know, everybody has atte but we all have a finite amount. So imagine humanity's use of resources radiating out from the centre of the hole. This is why we have thrived, why we can practise a culture and live well on this planet - it would be crazy to kick ourselves out of balance by over-exploiting natural resources.
