Major League Baseball - The D H Rule
Major league baseball is testing out a new rule that could change the game. The m l b has two leagues, the american league and the national league. They're pretty much exactly the same for one obvious difference - the d h rule. In major league baseball, every player has to take a turn at bat. But in the American League, the pitcher doesn't ever have to bat. And it's been a sore spot for baseball fans ever since. It would limit the team's use of a designated hitter to only when the starting pitcher is in the game.
