The Anxiety of a Filmmaker

There is a sense that attention spans are growing shorter and distributors are growing, you know, less risk averse. I'm like what is the point of even trying to be an artist on a grand scale in a medium that is basically a wide audience medium if you're not going to go for it? And so chastising people for that literally should be your last reaction, but I guess people can't help themselves. It's been so fascinating to kind of dissect. We're going to do this with Barbie and I'm sure it's going to become a lightning rod because of what Greta means to a lot of people.
