Sometimes i've been very aware of the events that need to go in each chapter and the shape of the book. And then there's others where i've cand have got myself into a muddle and got ahead of myself, and then i've had to re write and revise and move things around a lot. That was really difficult and annoying and bad. It would be so much better if i'd just got it right in the first place. There are signatures of language, if there are particular words that you're setting up to have special weight in that book?
