Board Game Design - Taking Detailed Notes and Criticisms

The one thing I was confident in was being able to give critiques. Because I have a bad memory I will write down kind of verbatim what people will say and not try to filter it. The very first version of book a villainy looked like a Monopoly board because that was all I knew how to imitate. It was very much trying to see how another designer troubleshot or how another designer approached a problem and solved it. That was how I kind of not stumbled my way but that's how I made my way through my very first game.
