I thought Michael Malone was brilliant in this series he knew what his team needed to do after game two. The way their defensive intensity changed between two and three I think was a product of his motivation. When Yolkich had the five fouls the lineup that he elected to put out there worked. There was never any big rah rah speech in the huddle like we got to step up up up they were super confident they were going to win that series. Van Gundy says at every broadcast they could have fired him they could have fire him they suck with him.
