The State Can't Endorse Religion

The establishment clause is about the idea that the state cannot endorse religion, and now we are seeing the state directly pay for religious instruction. One thing that's really interesting to me is that since this case was filed, a main passed a law ing that schools that qualify for this funding programme cannot discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. And the two christian schools that the families want to go to in this case both don't hire l g b t teachers and won't admit students who identify in that way.
