The Output of Boot Licking in Conservative Politics

This is part of a larger phenomenon in conservative politics generally, and in conservative legal circles as well. Conservatives always pose as hypothetical where they say, like, do you really want the courts making national security decisions? But that's missing the point, right? Which is we should avoid placing excessive discretion in the hands of any one branch of government. The output of boot licking is effectively giving up on the rule of law in times of aq emergency - it doesn't happen by accident.
