The Battle of Sella and Scipio
Plutarch: Sella's one army, and then the regime has three major armies each nearly the size of his. The two consuls for South Central Italy are Norbonus and a certain Lucius Scipio. They're trying to rendezvous in northern Campania to face Sella's army together. But before Norbonus can join up with his colleague, Sella surprises him at the foot of Mount Tefata near Capua.
