Introduction

On January 25th, 1971, a Ugandan military coup led by General Idi Amin over through the Socialist regime of President Milton Obote. On January 26th, 1565, this is the anniversary of the Battle of Talakota, when the Muslim deckin sultanates in central India defeated the Vijaya-Nagara Empire. On January 27th, 2023, we mark the 750th anniversary of the Abbasid Revolution and the Treaty of Carlovitz which ended the Great Turkish War.
