What Are Prophesy and Oracles?
The root word in greek is pesian, which means to speak or to tell. For a very, very long time, prophecies were delivered orally by speaking. These types of people have taken different titles and rolls throughout history. A seer technically is someone who reads the signs and makes a trained guess to the meaning behind them.
