The Argument for Prosecution in Trump's Impeachment
In the Watergate case, Nixon resigned in lieu of impeachment but was not convicted. In that scenario, isn't it a more powerful argument not to bring criminal charges? I'm not sure that it ultimately prevails,. But when you're looking at a president who has been impeached is out of office after being convicted on the on the impeachment charges. There are some folks who've suggested that Joe Biden should pardon if Trump is convicted.
