The Importance of Objectivity
Adam Smith talks about morality as if they imagine a third person outside of yourself, doesn't have the motive. And that's completely upside down. Everything is my life, my death. Good for me, bad for me, promotes my life, a threat to my life. That doesn't mean I should be emotional. It means I'm likely to be more passionate. But it also means that's what objectivity means.
