Budgets Don't Work
i'm not a fan of budgets. They're backwards looking, hard to do and don't actually tell you much. A lot of people believe that this mythical, mystical budget will somehow magically fix all their financial problems. I use something different, a conscious spending plan, which lets you decide where you want your money to go in the future. And it even provides specific guide lines for different categories like guilt free spending, saving and investing.
