COVID-19 Pandemic - New Intelligence Says It Came From a Lab Leak
The Department of Energy has concluded COVID-19 likely came from a lab leak in China. According to two sources with direct knowledge, key lawmakers on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees were recently briefed by top intelligence officials that cited new information. The dominant view early on in the pandemic was that the virus had arisen naturally as several other coronaviruses had in the past by moving from animal to human. There is not a consensus right now in the U.S. government about exactly how COVID started.
