I'm kind of glad to see Apple doing it, I'll be interested to see how it works though in the long run. The thing that gets me is how much I message and WhatsApp and all of those types of things have been used by the government. And I think it's a massive invasion of privacy in order to solve something that I'm not confident that they will solve regardless.
