Idetic Memory in Chimpanzees

Chimpanzees have an idetic memory for certain pacticle, idetic memory. They can instantly recall where the numbers one to ten in order are - but then that's the limit of their cognitive ability. The hypothesis is that at some point our ancestors had that skill and we swapped it for other cognitive abiliti. We don't quite know what they were being used for. But mosly we have these a ancient bones, some of them about 30 thousand years old, 20 thousand years old. About this there's the wolf bone of chelovacia. There's the shango bone.
