Mike Koltherst left the investor's tie lines, the heavy braided rope that had connected it to the decade, on the other boat's deck. In the early hours of Monday, September 6, the investor was on the move. At around 7.30am, it stopped at Fishair Island, a small landmass about a mile away. Then a heavy fog rolled in, obscuring the investor from sight. It finally cleared by the following morning of Tuesday, September 7, revealing that the investor hadn't moved from its spot alongside Fishair Island.
