The Strings Are Playing Along With the Guitar Attacks

Buckly is repurposing something that he does a lot when he plays live. The strings are playing in octaves and they're moving around in this really beautiful kind of serpentine way but there's a guitar actually playing along with them too. So the bass is going from D down to B to A to G which is very straightforward but because of what the guitar is playing it sounds pretty cool. I love this whole section from here on to the end of the song it's just so grand. It makes me picture this vast rolling countryside with bells ringing out"
