i used to make the joke if i wanted to see another black person, i'd just have to look in the mirror am. My dad grew up in a town of 400 people, and they were the only black family. So it's not so much what he said in that moment, because it wasn't a shock to us. Im, my family was very good, actually, about educating us, you know, before things like that happened. Am is one of the reasons that i have so much confidence in who i am.
