i got off the f train in soho right after the second plane had hit. And i just remember kind of walking around the neighborhood. I'll never forget that moment of ignorance where we didn't really understand the magnitude of what had happened. A lot of people decided to leave the city, again, similar to the pandemic,. Just wanted to live every day in a different mode of ramping up the gratitude and ramping down the presents.
