The insanity of Kurtz almost feels like there's this very strange tension where you can't exactly figure out how to poke holes in his insanity. You're like well it feels honest in a way right trip down from like some kind of facade or something that's some feel that's been lifted yes yeah. But then also what he's doing is so obviously just like horrifying that I think then ideally what that does is paint everything that's come before it with that same tinges, says the actor.
